Friday, December 2, 2016 - A Satisfying Fortune Saturday, December 3, 2016 - Weekend with Grandma.  A friend had a baby shower in the area, so we spent the weekend with Seth's Grandma Mitch. Seth helped her put up her tree, and then we worked on a jigsaw puzzle. It was a really relaxing weekend.  Sunday, December 4, 2016: Heading home from Grandma's Monday, December 5, 2016: Got my new Member Card.  We support WOSU, our local NPR station, and we get a member card that apparently get us some amazing discounts and perks. This Memorial Day weekend is packed full of strange excitement for my family.   Tomorrow I head with Seth, my mom and Seth's mom and dad down to Mansfield to take a tour of the Ohio State Reformatory . This historical and supposedly haunted former prison is famous for being the setting for the film, The Shawshank Redemption. My mom stumbled upon an amazing Groupon for self-guided tours so we are headed that way. I am taking my camera and I am hoping I can capture the image of a ghost while we wander.       On Sunday I am volunteering with my mother at the Columbus Asian Festival , This is my first time attending this particular festival, but I am excited to see what it has to offer. I am hoping for delicious food and fabulous booths, and hopefully people selling fun stuff. :)       Beyond all that craziness life is interesting in my world. This past Saturday the 21st was our annual Egg Decorating Party. We enjoyed a couple of new participants including my niece Sadie and my nephew Gideon (he didn't actually decorate, but he was awful cute), as well as my friend Megan and her daughter River. Many eggs were decorated, many children were painted, and a lot of fun was had.     Me rocking my bunny ears. They didn't last long. :) Mom and Shmoo Egg Tree! Brownies and Banana Pudding. Yum! Chip, Dips, Popcorn and Ham Ball. The paints were in this hanging divider...in color order of course. Even the Mixer was decorated. The first couple eggs. Seth is not amused.
