From the Mind of AlphaBetsy

Magical Monday 3 Card Spread -  Mind, Body, Spirit  Mind: 0 The Wanderer: You have come to a junction or turning point in your life. It may be an unconscious state in which you feel the tide has turned or sense something is going to happen. In a way it already has. Your spirit must move on and the desire to leap into the unknown beckons. This may mean leaving behind or giving up some baggage or burden that you have carried with you from the past. Now is the time to be clear and not let fear of falling or sad disillusion with the universe hold you back. Let your imagination carry you into a new set of possibilities. It is  time to travel hopefully and open your arms to new and challenging aspects of the universe. Body : Ace of Bows - Spark of Life: By shaping, directing and persevering with the tool that both hunts and nurtures fire, we kindle the spark that starts the process of creation and empowerment. This has been an odd year for me. While normally my house would be ridiculously awash with Halloween bits and bobs, this year I have not put up a single decoration, not one. I bought a couple of new things, and they are sitting in bags unused. I guess every once in a while it is okay to have an off year.   So for my celebration this year I am going to show pictures from a Halloween Party I attended this past weekend, and what I received and sent from the Craftster WWP Samhain swap.      Our hosts the moon and sun Jen the Moon A close-up of the moon paint Chris the Sun   The moon and the pussycat Me as a flapper   A close-up of 1920's me My hubby ala duck dynasty More of my hubby A couple of force users The captain...trekking Kim as Ula   And as for the two swap packages I sent my partner The whole kit and kaboodle...   Sea salt, a crystal, and candleholders ...

It is that time once again for skeletons, bats, spiders and sparkles. And I am not jut talking about my everyday wardrobe. Once again Vanessa is hosting her:      Join me on October 25.     See you there!!

My favorite season has come and gone, and now it is Nowember. We had a fun and interesting Halloween though, marked by parties, street festivals, pumpkin destruction, and goal setting (at least on my part.) Right now I have a house full of bats, spiders, crows, witches and pumpkins, and my dumpster is FULL of the remains of 40 pumpkins. My hair has been professionally washed and trimmed to fix all the damage from three weekends of curlers and big hair. I have been a psychotic baker and a pageant kid (a la honey boo boo). I have baked 3 dozen cookies, made many dips, decorated one pumpkin, and frantically searched for more. I saw a Halloween drag show, ate pumpkin ice cream and found out how delicious cider is with caramel vodka. Overall it has been a fabulous couple of weeks. And in case you were wondering this is what that looks like. Jen and Chris' Winter Wonderland Halloween Party   Me as Mrs. Lovett Close up of Lovett Sexy constr...
