As I was drawing from my bag another run popped out, so rune number two is.
 
Raido - Journey; Horse & Rider, Partnership. Represents travel, both in physical terms and those of lifestyle direction. The rune predicts a journey, vacation, relocation, evolution, change of place or setting. It allows seeing a larger perspective. Seeing the right move for you to make and deciding upon it. It symbolizes personal rhythm, world rhythm and the dance of life.

Four of Stones - Protection
 
Reading Points: Many trials and tribulations surface during our lifetime, and being able to endure such times is the sign of a strong heart and healthy spirit. Finding a personal place of emotional safety may require safety may require patience and a social dedication to the quest, but for those who have weathered adversity and known loss, the light of life and love will always burn brightly within them. By building on a foundation of ethical beliefs, boundaries and skills, we can be assured that when the test comes we are secure in our self-knowledge and confidence. The human ability to recognize and feel compassion for those who need help is just as important. However the storm may tear at our own inner place of protection we must keep the faith that the sun will rise again for all those in peril and offer fresh opportunities and spiritual rewards. Such is the law of karma, that each act of selfless protection and mercy for those in need revitalizes the spiritual warrior with a sense of peace and divinity rarely found in common practice.
 
Magical Monday - Tuesday
 
 
 
 I am doing some soul searching with the full moon and making some important decisions. It is time I started finding my direction, again, so I am off to do that. I have been sick the last couple of days, but I think it is time to do some searching none the less.

Mad Tea Party 2011

Welcome to my Party!! Feel free to grab a cup and a chair.  The table is set and waiting.  Pretty veggies... All kinds of berries... The tea service awaiting the first guests... Zoe looks frightened...she doesn't trust mad people (how does she live with me? lol) I am all dressed up and ready to party.  With my cupcake socks.  And my tiny top hat (received in an Alice swap)  Cupcakes, Berries and are those cucumber sandwiches.  Pouring the tea for my party guests.  Berries, Candy and a full cup o tea.  Quoi??  Having a chat with my very mad Mother.  My Mothers amazing tea hat.  4 pots of tea consumed hundreds of laughs  good friends lots of food What a fabulous party!!  Thank you for stopping by, have a fabulous tea day.  Clean cup, move down. Betsy's Gypsy Dreams

When I was a little girl I would sit on my front porch reading and dreaming that the gypsies would come to take me away. I loved the music, dancing, color and whimsy of the gypsy. Their spirit spoke of freedom that my mid-western soul could not help but envy. I wanted to run away and find my place among those beautiful people.  And as an adult I still do. I love to dress in what I think of a a gypsy style. For my gypsy dreams post I am going to share clothes and accessories with a gypsy flair that I love, want or covet completely. found here found here found here found here found here found here found here found here found here found here found here I hope you can use these inspirations to create your own gypsy look.
