Magical Monday - Tuesday Edition
Magical Monday
3 Card Spread - Mind, Body, Spirit
Mind: Four of Vessels: Boredom - The universe responds favourably to a decisive, forward momentum, while boredom leaves a person in a state of inaction. There are many reasons for feeling disenchanted or trapped in life. The causes of the malaise and the feeling of being weathered by routine or beaten down by conflict are common, but in the end it is from ourselves that the first sparks of momentum must emanate. But if you ask a question of the universe, the universe will answer. Nature abhors a vacuum and it will throw so many opportunities into your path that your head will spin. All you have to do is recognize and acknowledge the proffered doorways, and step through them. Challenge should not be feared; opportunity should be grasped and utilized to its natural limit.
Body : Five of Vessels: Ecstasy - Many avenues are open to the Wanderer to commune intimately and ecstatically with great beauty or to be intoxicated by an intensely personal connection with the divine. Music, meditation, art, love, dancing or a profound sexual experience can inspire and induce the sacred trance of enlightening ecstasy.
Spirit: Two of Stones: Challenge - Some competition and honest differences of opinion can be productive and even beneficial. Remain clear and focused on your objectives and stay firm in your ethical efforts to proceed with a plan or project.
Totem for the Week:
from Medicine Cards by Jamie Sams and David Carson
Illustrated by Angela C. Werneke
34 Grouse: If you have Grouse medicine in your cards, undertake a meditation on the various qualities of movement within your world.
Many spiritual disciplines ask that you cease all external movement in order to recognize inner life. Grouse medicine, however, is an invitation to dance. Grouse celebrates the Divine Source through its sacred spiral dance , and offers this dance to you as a gift. You can spend a lifetime learning Grouse's lesson on how to harmonize your dance with Mother Earth's cycles, and how to offer the dance as a creation of selfless beauty.
Thoughts:
I am still in partial recovery from Earth Warrior's Festival this weekend, which is why this post is happening on Tuesday instead of Monday, lol. I took amazing classes from amazing teachers from across the USA. I bought 3 books directly from teachers and got them signed. There were several amazing group rituals. Overall it was a wonderful weekend. I feel like I emerged with many new friends.
I bought the following books.
I can't wait to get into them!! Here are some pictures from the concerts and fire dancing.
Blessings!
