Magical Monday - It's Yule week!
3 Card Spread - Head, Heart, Spirit
Head: 21 The World Tree: The universe and all its blessings are available to everyone who seeks knowledge and wisdom with a sincere heart. On every level, the cosmos has a generous bounty and gives freely of its rich nourishment and fulfillment. No matter how long the journey of life may be, however many twists and turns the maze may offer us, in the end, if we persevere, we will reach the point of fulfillment. This may relate to material gain and wealth or to spiritual happiness and emotional security, but after the long process of learning, responsibility and rebirth, it is now time to bathe in the light of renewal, attainment and personal triumph. Breathe in the rich air, drink of the sweet water and rejoice in the warming fire of the universal life force.
Heart: Eight of Bows - Hearthfire: Hope leads to the attainment of innermost dreams, desires and security, fueling your soul with belief in yourself, your values and natural justice. To commune with a close fellowship of friends and family, tested and loyal to a common moral code, belief or way of life, brings a blessing. A gathering of friends and family around a place of common emotional significance, symbolism and safety is a powerful experience. It is a time to be thankful and to express and receive love.
Spirit: 14 Balance: You must be balanced and patient. The time is right to rest and contemplate all the facets of your existence. To continue now you must be still and calm. Finding inner balance that will enable you to see beyond the present state is a process of trust and confidence in your own strengths. These facets may include parts of your psyche that you would rather not deal with , but no amount of denial will rid you of the need to absorb and reclaim them. Balance is absolutely necessary to free the inner self from the fears and self-doubts that keep us spiritually deaf, dumb and blind.
Totem for the Week:

Illustrated by Angela C. Werneke
8 Otter: If you have drawn this symbol, Otter may be telling you to become playful child and to simply allow things to unfold in your life. It may be time to stop your addiction to worrying. Otter also teaches the importance of not hanging onto material things that would bind you or become a burden. In looking at how you learn from Otter's habits, you might look at the joyousness of the receptive side of your nature. Have you given yourself a gift recently? Have you received any messages in your meditations? Become Otter and move gently into the river of life. Flow with the waters of the Universe...this is the way of balanced female-receptive energy. Honor it! In doing so, you will discover the power of woman.
The Faeries Oracle by Brian Froud and Jessica Macbeth
24 The Piper: To get what you want the Piper recommends that you try polite requests and gentle, patient persuasion - and then wait, quietly welcoming, for it to come to you. Seek harmony and tranquility in yourself and in the world around you. Use tenderness and gentleness. This card speaks of a time of harmony, creativity, and increasing order. It tells of communication without words - the music of empathy and the awareness of the feelings and concerns of others. This is a time to pay attention to the subtlety of others' expressions of feelings and ideas. Look past the surface and listen as you would to a beguiling melody on the very edge of hearing. He also plays melodies in our dreams, which may be filled with meaning and importance, and then he leaves it up to us to understand what they mean.
This may also be a good time to be aware that others may be listening to us with sensitivity and clarity - so much so that they may hear what we are truly saying more than we do ourselves.
This card may also signify musical talent or ability,or it may be suggesting that the use of music is in some way important at the present time.
Thoughts: It is Yule and Christmas week. We have so much going on. :) I will catch up later.
