Magical Monday - Welcoming 2017
3 Card Spread - Head, Heart, Spirit
Head: King of Stones - Wolf: Learning from your past mistakes as well as the mistakes of others. Learning from history rather than repeating it. Wisdom that comes with age.
Heart: 20 The Great Bear: Going through a time of change. Taking time to assess what is important in your life, and what is not. Taking an honest look at your life to see what you need more of and less of. Make your life better through honest contemplation.
Spirit: Three of Stones - Creativity: Harnessing your creativity to make beautiful things, and to express your truth. Don't be afraid that what you are doing is not good enough. This is an expression of your soul, and should be treated as such by you.

24 Crow: If Crow medicine appears in your card spread, you must pause and reflect on how you see the laws of the Great Spirit in relation to the laws of humanity. Crow medicine signifies a firsthand knowledge of a higher order of right and wrong than that indicated by the laws created in human culture, With Crow medicine, you speak in a powerful voice when addressing issues that for you seem out of harmony, out of balance, out of whack, or unjust.
Remember that Crow looks at the world with first one eye and then the other cross-eyed. In the Mayan culture, cross-eyeds had the privilege and duty of looking into the future. You must put aside your fear of being a voice in the wilderness and "caw" the shots as you see them.
As you learn to allow your personal integrity to be your guide, your sense of feeling alone will vanish. Your personal will can then emerge so that you will stand your truth. The prime path of true Crow people says to be mindful of your opinion and actions. Be willing to walk your talk, speak your truth, know your life's mission, and balance past, present, and future in the now. Shape shift that old reality and become your future self. Allow the bending of physical laws to aid in creating the shape shifted world of peace.

52 The Rarr: A Rarr in your cards encourages you to be especially attentive to what you are doing with your energy and intentions. Don't get carried away by the Rarr's bouncy enthusiasm, but do take advantage of the energy. You can accomplish a great deal with the energy being made available to you. This is a good time. Note that the Rarr is not grounded - and is not meant to be - but humans need to keep their feet firmly on the earth. When you encounter the Rarr, breathe slowly. Center. Earth yourself. Be clear about your objectives and then go for them.
Thoughts: The holidays are over, and I am off school this week, so I am looking forward to working my way through the Winter Solstice module of the Psycho Spiritual Wheel of the Year. I am already formulating what my word/words of the year are going to be for 2016. I will share more on that later in the week.
I got some amazing gifts for the holidays, including my husband buying me the Deviant Moon Tarot. I am so in love with it. I had been eyeing it, and he bought it for me, in spite of thinking that I have too many decks. I am so excited to start working with it. The imagery is so beautiful, and strange.
Blessings!
