Welcome to my Party!! Feel free to grab a cup and a chair.  The table is set and waiting.  Pretty veggies... All kinds of berries... The tea service awaiting the first guests... Zoe looks frightened...she doesn't trust mad people (how does she live with me? lol) I am all dressed up and ready to party.  With my cupcake socks.  And my tiny top hat (received in an Alice swap)  Cupcakes, Berries and are those cucumber sandwiches.  Pouring the tea for my party guests.  Berries, Candy and a full cup o tea.  Quoi??  Having a chat with my very mad Mother.  My Mothers amazing tea hat.  4 pots of tea consumed hundreds of laughs  good friends lots of food What a fabulous party!!  Thank you for stopping by, have a fabulous tea day.  Clean cup, move down. Practical Magic and my very first Giveaway

I remembered loving the book because the magic that they described was so much more natural than "supernatural". It always seemed so much more real to me. Everything was more subtle and I could relate to these beautiful, strong women.  Reading the book anew I fell in love all over again. The aunts eclectic nature, taking in their nieces even though they never married or had children. The black cats haunting their home. The late night visitors. The orphans who grow into two different, but very similar women. Sally's beautiful daughters who have their own problems with the Owens name. The men who fall into the women's lives. Halloween Party 2010!!! - For Really This Time.

Who is this? Lurking above our chamber door? A raven?  "Evermore" croaks he. He has claimed his spot and refuses to leave. I am rather fond of him anyway, so as far as I'm concerned he can stay.  Of Course I keep a broom beside my doorway. Bristles up for protection, like a good witch I must admit that you are a little early for the party. I am still trying to get ready, but you can come inside and look around.  Black vines and fairy lights decorate the banister.  The sun shooting into the chandelier makes a creepy sight, especially with Halloween Buntings in Black and White.  Glitter skulls and spiderweb candle holders sparkle from the mantle.  Herbs, flowers and brooms hanging on the wall waiting for me to use them.  Silver skulls surround a batty candelabra in the center of the table.  Am I ready for the party?
