The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Steig Larsson - There was so much hype surrounding this book that I was afraid that it could never live up to it. The book is an amazing and interesting mystery/thriller though and really delivers a top notch story. The first part of the book moves a bit slowly, but keep pushing forward, because once the action starts it doesn't stop. The heroine, Lisbeth, is so strangely likable and I kept thinking that if she were real we could be friends. :) All in all a great book, though a bit raw at times both in violence and sexual themes, so be warned.

I am going to try to get my hands on the other two books soon, and will let you know what I think.

I am just starting to read the first one and I have the other two. If you have a second hand book store or thrift store that sells books you can probably find them there, I did and for a quarter of the price.

If you decide to see the films do not see the american version. The Swedish films are just amazing. I saw all three and was mesmerized.

Happy reading
