Spring into Fitness - Week 2 - the feet edition

This was actually a pretty good week for me. I jumped into a challenge on weight watchers to exercise for at least a half hour everyday for fifty days. I did a solid week this past week and am starting on my second. I also tried on my wedding dress and I really don't have that far to go to fit in it, just need to keep plugging along. Yay!!

My current numbers:
Weight: 207
Bust: 44.5
Waist: 38.5
Hips: 43
Thigh: 23
Bicep: 14

The inches are fabulous, even if the pounds aren't coming off as fast as I would like.

I am working on my weight loss goal everyday. Weight Watchers is going well. I have been doing really well on not destroying myself completely on the weekend. I haven't had anything fried at all, even at a restaurant. I am eating a lot of fruits and veggies, because they are free on WW PP. Oh, and if you haven't tried carrots with salsa you definitely should. :)

For my elemental goals: Water - I am drinking a ton more water, and have cut almost all pop (even diet) out of my diet. Earth - I have been crazy busy, so I haven't played in the yard as much as I would like. I tried to mow one day, but couldn't get the mower to start. Seth has it back up and running now though, so I can mow Saturday morning, hopefully. Air - I haven't decided what I want to learn/ do yet. I am researching. Fire - I am really proud of how motivated I have been. I haven't even been tempted to not work out. It's pretty amazing. Spirit - I bought a new book called The Body Sacred by Dianne Sylvan, which I am hoping I can use as a tool to help me with my self-esteem and self-worth. I am not too far in, but I really like it so far. I am also going to start a journal to help with that.

On Friday, after a ridiculously stressful work day, my mom and I decided to go out and get pedicures. Now some of you might be saying, yeah and, but you have to know that I have had one pedicure in my whole life and it was over a year ago. I was due some pampering. So we found this nice little shop and sat down to be worked on. Let me just say that I love massaging pedicure chairs. I would buy one for my house if that wouldn't be completely unnecessary.

My toes post fancification.
After pedicures we went shoe shopping. Why not? We now had pretty toes. I bought three pairs of shoes. A pair of sandals for the summer by Jellypop Shoes. A pair of dressy open toes by Steve Madden. And a pair of Adidas running shoes. I love shoes. I could have bought ten more pairs. lol.

I have so much stuff coming up in the next couple of weeks it's insane. This Saturday Seth and I are going with mom and Shmoo to the Ohio State Buckeye's spring game. Next weekend is the Ashville Viking Festival, woot. May 5th I had too many things, so I gave away my Ohio Roller Girls tickets for that day, which leaves me with a tattoo festival, a beltane ritual and a bellydance competition. That is going to be a really full day. On May 12 my friend Olga is getting married. And on May 19 we are walking in the Komen and then later in the day having another wedding crafting party. That's the stuff I can remember. :)

You're doing so well on your fitness focus. Good for you! I really should get this bum out of the chair more often lol

I've only had a couple of pedi's and I'm itching for another... perhaps I can convince the man and the monster to get me one for mum's day.

That's awesome about the progress with your Spring In To Fitness challenge; keep up the good work!

I've never had a pedicure; I was never in to that kind of thing.

Good luck with all your upcoming events; sounds like fun... Hope they all go well! :)
