Beltane Love ( just a little late, but so fabulous who cares? )

I received in the mail today a beyond fabulous package from the amazing and uber-talented P_E_S_T in the Craftster Beltane WWP Swap. I cried, literally, and then called my mom to tell her how amazing this package was. It is really that cool.

First there was a card, with a kitty. 



And inside the card it said

Inside Parcel #1 I found
"she birthed a landscape"

Can you believe the detail? 

Inside parcel #2 was...
Ribbons on clothespins. With wishes painted on them. 

And when added to my holiday "tree" 


Found in parcel #3 was...
This was inspired by a quote from my "about me" 

"I can say things to you in writing that I would never say aloud."

And in parcel #4

So I can create my own yarn flowers. 

I was so excited that I had to share with everyone else. I am in love with every piece and that Goddess will have a happy home on my altar. She is so beautiful.

Mad Tea Party 2011

Welcome to my Party!! Feel free to grab a cup and a chair.  The table is set and waiting.  Pretty veggies... All kinds of berries... The tea service awaiting the first guests... Zoe looks frightened...she doesn't trust mad people (how does she live with me? lol) I am all dressed up and ready to party.  With my cupcake socks.  And my tiny top hat (received in an Alice swap)  Cupcakes, Berries and are those cucumber sandwiches.  Pouring the tea for my party guests.  Berries, Candy and a full cup o tea.  Quoi??  Having a chat with my very mad Mother.  My Mothers amazing tea hat.  4 pots of tea consumed hundreds of laughs  good friends lots of food What a fabulous party!!  Thank you for stopping by, have a fabulous tea day.  Clean cup, move down. Betsy's Gypsy Dreams

When I was a little girl I would sit on my front porch reading and dreaming that the gypsies would come to take me away. I loved the music, dancing, color and whimsy of the gypsy. Their spirit spoke of freedom that my mid-western soul could not help but envy. I wanted to run away and find my place among those beautiful people.  And as an adult I still do. I love to dress in what I think of a a gypsy style.
